With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin Mooers Jr. (Cornish, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sr. Mooers and Anne Mooers (Modes); his sons, David and Kevin; his sister-in-law Lorelei; and his great grandchild Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Cross; his brothers, Carl Mooers (Karen) of Waterboro and Billy Mooers of Gorham; his daughter Lisa Cox; his son-in-law Allen Jr. of Buxton; his grandchildren, Nicholas Mooers (Samantha), Allen Cox III (Andrea), Ashley Sargent (Alex) and Samantha Shultz (Christopher); and his great grandchildren, Lillias, Stephen and Morgan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel (498 Long Plains Rd, Buxton, ME 04093).
