She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Hunter and Bertha Hunter (Vandiver); her son Michael Blackmon; and her brother Kenneth L. Hunter. She is survived by: her partner Royce Bowden of Limington; and her children, Kathy Blackmon of Bridgton, John Blackmon of Harrison and J. C. Blackmon of Pittsfield. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home (71 Maple St, Cornish, ME 04020).
