She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett C. Day and Thelma M Day (Preble); and her brother Lloyd Day. She is survived by: her husband Thomas M. Gardner; her children, Stephen Gardner (Cheryl Levine) of Washington, DC, Kevin Gardner of Corinth and Anngela Smith (Brian) of Scarborough; her grandchildren, Abigail of Scarborough and Gabriel Smith of Scarborough; and her siblings, Darlene Moors (Danny) of Corinth, Terry Day (Debbie) of Corinth, Richard Day (Susan) of Charleston and Diane Rollins (Michael) of Corinth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics of Maine.
