He was predeceased by: his wife Debra L. Place (Aldred); his parents, Raymond Place and Rose Robideau (Gage); and his brother William. He is survived by: his children, Kevin P. Place (Katie) of Clinton, Keith D. Place (Cassandra) of Clinton and Kimberly A. Steinau (Damion) of Clinton; his sisters, Phyllis Bowser of Marlborough, Bette Britton of Maine, Sandra Place of Maine, Brenda Choiniere of Las Vegas and Rhonda Letteer of Colorado; his grandchildren, Sofia, Kylie, Jeremiah, McKenna, Edmund and Trent; and his siblings, Pattie and Lanie.
