With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Mae (Rowe) Hunter (Clinton, Maine), who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert E. Rowe and Ruby M. Rowe (Ranlett); her grandparents, Bernard and Vesta Ranlett (Hall); her great-grandparents, Samuel and Ann Ranlett (Stewart); her great-great-grandparents, Charles and Nancy Ranlett (Roundy); her former spouse Gut Ivan Hunter; her husband Guy; her siblings, Albert E. Rowe Jr. and Barbara Grant (Rowe); her brother-in-law Mark L. Grant Jr.; her sisters, Gladys Lee (Rowe) of Skowhegan and Theresa Monk (Rowe) of Clinton; her sister-in-law Joyce Rowe (Hunt) of Clinton; her nieces and nephews, Trudy Hanson (Donald) of Winthrop, Ellen Faulkner (Kenneth) of Clinton, David Lee (Johnna) of Skowhegan and Gary Monk of Bangor; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah E. Faulkner, Nicole Monk, Janet Mathieu (Lee), Kristin Waning (Lee), Jacob Faulkner, Timothy Monk, Jason Monk and Larry Lee; her niece Ann Shores (George); her siblings-in-law, Roger "Babe" Clifford and Patricia "Pat" Hunter; her friend Doug Brooks; and also Kelly Paradis. She was also cherished by two great grandnieces,; four great grandnephews; and several cousins.
