He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wood and Lisa Butler; and his grandparents, Elton and Virginia Wood. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Butler, Jr. of Belgrade, Hannah Butler of Belgrade and Cheyenne Potter of Waterville; his girlfriend Katie Dudley; his girlfriend's children, Abigail Foss of Benton, Evan Foss of Benton and Scott Foss II of Benton; his sister Dawn Cook of Waterville; his nephews, Trever Cook of Clarksville and Tyler Loisel of Clinton; his grandson Kai Potter of Waterville; his pet Hoover; and his friends, Justin Laforte of Clinton and Corey Ballard of Howland.
