He was predeceased by: his son Steven Cole Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Roger Sherman Sr. and Louise Lee Cole (Barker); his spouse Susan Cole; his children, Seth Cole (Sarah) of Pittsfield, Shane Cole (Paula) of Winslow, Saul Cole (Ashley) of Waterville, Scott Cole (Tysha) of Albion, Stuart Cole (Valerie) of China, Shelley Marcoux (Lee) of Sidney, Sonya Cole, Dan Parsons of Winslow and Susan Cole of Shawmut; his brother Roger Cole Jr.; his wife Patricia Cole of Canaan; his sisters, Natalie Labbe (Steve) of Shawmut, Sally Funk (James) of Connecticut, Marlena Funk and Martha Rowe; and also Timothy Cole (Stacey) of Virginia. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins.
