The passing of Roland Gay (China, Maine), born in Weeks Mills, Maine leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy R. Gay and Ellen Maddocks Gay; his siblings, Gerald, Darrell, Neil, Dennis, Harvard Gay, Sr. and Guylene Freeman; and his granddaughter Amanda Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Robbins Gay; his children, David, Beth Getchell (Chip) and Debra Bartlett (Dick); and his grandchildren, Michelle Solomon, Jacob Solomon (Natasha) and Nicole Lovering. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Weeks Mills Baptist Church (13 Deer Hill Rd, China, ME 04358). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
