He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Yax and Rosella Yax; and his nephew Jeff Durant. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Yax; his daughters, Mary Ashbaugh (Mark) and Carrie Collins (Daniel); his grandchildren, Joshua Lemieux and Sophia Ashbaugh; and his siblings, Alvin Yax, Andy Yax (Sandy), Roseanne Durant (Ray) and Lynnette Moore (Gene).
