She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Peers and Effie A. Peers (O'Neal); her husband Erwin A. Bengtson; her son Robert Bengtson; and her siblings, Charles, Abel, Calvin, John, Louis Peers, Amelita "Sis" Kennedy and Faye Michaud.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Linda Bengtson), Rodney (Michelle Bengtson) and Rhonda; her son-in-law Howard Higgins of New Sweden; and her sister-in-law June Peers of Limestone. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
