Edith E. Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith E. Davis (Cherryfield, Maine), born in Machias, Maine, who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Davis; her siblings, Kathleen Fickett (Paul) and James "Jim" Sullivan (Julia); her niece Carol Crabtree; and her daughter-in-law Rebecca Davis.
She is survived by: her son Kirby Davis; and her nieces, Paula Farren and Janice Ames (Burley). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A verse recently read may hold true for those who knew her: "Her voice will echo in memories you hold, Her smile will warm you through stories retold; Her love will touch you in spirit each day, Her life will be treasured in beautiful ways." She will be sorely missed by many, but is finally home with her Lord and Savior 'Jesus Christ" beginning a new and wonderful adventure. Services will be held at the Congregational Church in Cherryfield on May 12th 2018 at 11:00am. If anyone wishes, donations to the church in her memory are welcome.
