He was predeceased by: his wife Christine G. Norman; his parents, Albert L. Norman and Thelma D. Norman (Foss); his son Robert Norman; his granddaughters, Jamie and Kathy Goody; and his son-in-law Stuart Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Chester "Chet" Whitney (Doreen) of Hermon, Sheila Palmer of Madison and Cheryl Tate (Donnie Tate) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dudley, Kelly Norman, Joseph Hunt and Jessica Goody Smith; his brother Arthur Norman of Embden; and his friends, Theresa and Ron Allen. He is also survived by several step siblings; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to a wildlife charity of choice.
