With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Briggs (Carrabassett Valley, Maine), born in Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 14, 2022 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha Briggs to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Lincoln Briggs; her parents, Bessie Woods and Lawrence "Dutch" Woods; and her siblings, Phyllis McCarthy and Lawrence Woods.
She is survived by: her son Walter George Briggs (Sarah) of The Villages, FL; her granddaughter Rachel Obomsawin (Adam) of Oxford, CT; her great grandchildren, Lucas and Clay; her granddaughter Emily Pirc (Christo) of Woodbridge, CT; her children, Donald Woods Briggs of Madison, CT and Nancy Briggs Marshall of Portland, ME; and her grandsons, Craig Marshall of South Boston, MA and James Marshall of South Portland, ME.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
