It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Steven Simon (Caribou, Maine), born in Fort Kent, Maine, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger J. Simon and Shirley Simon (Ouellette) of Woodland; and his granddaughters, Heidi and Harley Simon. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Simon (Ellis); his children, Cher Simon-Weston (Michael) of Sanford, Harley David Simon of Gorham, Ashlee Ellingwood (Jon) of Dyer Brook and Harmony Beckwith of Presque Isle; his siblings, Roger James Simon of Woodland, Franklin Dale Simon (Daryla) of Cross Lake, Carrie Strelka (Mark) of Fort Fairfield and Sheila Aleman (Esequiel, Jr) of Fitchburg, MA; his grandchildren, Mitchell Steven Thompson, Coty Robert Cameron, Kyle Matthew Spooner, Hunter Cathy Martin and Rylee Saucier; and his great grandchild Tayla Spooner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
