He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bechtel and Mildred Bechtel; his sister Connie Sue; and his granddaughter Sarah Bechtel. He is survived by: his wife Pat of New Sweden; his son Erick (Nichole); his grandchildren, Kate of Caribou, Jack of Caribou and Ethan Bechtel of Caribou; his sister Sharon Allman (Mark) of Elkhart Indiana; his sister-in-law Janet Erickson of New Sweden; and his pet Chloe.
He was a volunteer with Aroostook RSVP for more than 15 years.
