It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhonda Jean Higgins (Caribou, Maine), who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rhonda Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rhonda Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Bengtson and E. Marie "Peggy" Bengtson (Peers); and her brother Bob Bengtson. She is survived by: her husband Howard Higgins; her sons, Jason Crocker of Caribou and Justin Crocker (Brandi) of Caribou; her stepson Chris Higgins (Jenny) of Ellsworth; and her brothers, Wayne Bengtson (Linda) of China and Rodney Bengtson (Michelle) of Berlin, NH. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
