Nina Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nina Smith of Caribou, Maine, born in Saint Francis, Maine, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Michaud and Mary Jane Michaud (Harvey); her son Roderick T. Plourde; and her siblings, Hubert, Vinal, Doug Michaud, Mary Albert, Beatrice Michaud and Beverly Michaud.
She is survived by: her husband Norman S. Smith of Caribou; her son Dean; her daughter-in-law Heidi Plourde of Perham; her daughter Tara Peterson of Presque Isle; her stepdaughters, Deborah K of New Jersey and Dianne R. Smith of New Jersey; her siblings, Paul (Nancy Michaud), James (Rena Michaud), Emily Johnston (David) of Caribou, Jean Downend (Michael) of Caribou, Christine Pelkey of Caribou and Earleen York of Marion, VA; her grandchildren, Raven Plourde of Calais, Clay Plourde of Perham, Garrett Plourde of Perham, Wyatt Plourde of Perham, Kaili Condon of Portage Lake, Kaitlyn Condon of Portage Lake and Tracy Plourde of Bailyville; and her great grandchild Ryker Plourde of Calais. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
