Janet Mae Peterson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Mae Peterson of Caribou, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Barkey and Dorothy Barkey (Reyher); her brother Dennis Barkey; and her brother-in-law Randy Green. She is survived by: her husband Rolland Peterson; her sons, Ryan Peterson, Kurt (Miranda Peterson) and Jared (Bridget Peterson); her siblings, Roland (Joyce Barkey), Gary (Lori Barkey), Carmen (Bob Copley), Marlene Green and Betty (Paul Knott); her sister-in-law Erin Barkey; and her grandchildren, John, Riggs, Luca and Rafe. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home (11 Clover St, Caribou, ME 04736). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
