He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Drake and Mildred Drake (Piltz); and his sister Patricia Lajoie. He is survived by: his wife Betty Borden of Caribou; his children, Judy Spies (Gerrett) of Washington State and Stephen Drake (Linda) of California; his sisters, Brenda Ketch of Madawaska Lake and Geraldine Curran of Eagle Lake; his granddaughter Adina Spies of Arizona; and his stepgranddaughter Carol Bouchard (Sanford).
