John M. Bridges Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John M. Bridges of Cape Neddick, Maine, who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John M. Bridges to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Bridges Sr. and Fanny Ellis Bridges; his brother Thomas W. Bridges Jr. (Margaret "Peggy" Sue); and his son David J. Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Sue Hackett Bridges; his children, Michael L. Bridges (Maureen Flanagan) of Appleton, ME, James M. Bridges (Viktoriya Bridges) of Las Vegas, NV and Martha Sue Bridges Turner (Bob Turner) of Bryant Pond, ME; and his granddaughters, Abigail Rose Turner of Washington, D. C. and Jessica Sue Turner Shaw (Andrew Shaw). He is also survived by two daughters – John's great-granddaughters.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home (91 Long Sands Rd, York, ME 03909).
