She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leroy Whittier and Sydney Sewall Whittier; her sisters, Katharine Whittier and Nancy Atkinson; and her son James Klenk.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her children, Sarah Davis (Paul), Stephen Klenk (Ria), Jeffrey Klenk (Nancy Sheehan), Jonathan Klenk (Vicky), Sydney Dolat (Peter) and Jennifer Novelli (Michael); and her daughter-in-law Gina Klenk. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
