With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marland E. Tripp (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), who passed away on March 6, 2019 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marland E. Tripp to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frederick Tripp II and Elva Fuller Tripp of Canton; and his brothers, Erlon, John, Fred, Paul, Herbert and Byron.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Probert (Russell) of Farmington, Charles (Mona) of Florida and Mark (Lynne) of Lisbon; his grandchildren, Christopher Probert (Brittany) of Utah, Michelle Probert (James Creighton) of Brunswick, Stephanie Callan (Daniel) of Florida, Stephen Tripp (Crystal) of New Gloucester, Gregory Tripp (Tiffany) of Utah, Lauren Vega (Jesus) of Utah and Allison Johnson (Tyler) of Utah; his siblings, Gordon of Strong and Jean Harris of Texas; his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Conant of Auburn, Pauline Martin of Lewiston and Doris Tripp of Farmington; and his significant other Rae of Cape Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bradbury Memorial Chapel, in care of Arthur Chamberlain, 502 Canton Point Rd, Canton, ME 04221, for preservation of the historic chapel next to the Tripp's old family farm.
