It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Dougherty Battistus of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dougherty and Marie Dougherty. She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her siblings, Tim Dougherty (Jill), Jay Dougherty (Karen) and Patricia Georges (Stephen); her stepsons, Randy and Brian Battistus; and her aunt Maureen Durr. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
