He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughters, Stacy Tate (William Jr.) of McKinney, TX, LyndaLee Landry (Randall) of Scarborough, ME and Keri Foster (Daniel Stoops) of Portland, OR.; his grandchildren, Emily Falk (Ryan), William Tate, III (Alyson), Tucker Landry and Braden Landry; and his sisters, Jane Barclay of Dothan, AL and Karen Foster (Phil Caper) of Portland, ME. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
