Elaine Falender Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Falender of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fredrick Falender and Doris Falender (Newmark); her children, Elaine and Gordon; her husband Gordon Gayer; her children, Elisabeth, Daniel and Carlin; her children-in-law, Ryan, Sarah and Noah; her grandchildren, Grace, Neil, Hope, Micah, Leif, Joy and Lily; her stepmother Joan Falender of Belvedere, CA; her brother Stephen; and her sister-in-law Debra Falender of Aspen, CO.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Elaine's memory may be sent to Friends of Katahdin Woods and Waters or Congregation Bet Ha'am.
