She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy C. Snowman and Ruby Ashby Snowman; her spouse Edward C. Chase; her siblings, Dorothy L. Snowman, Janet S. Duncan and Robert P. Snowman; and her siblings-in-law, Robert M. Chase, Jack Duncan and Julie Snowman.
She is survived by: her daughter Alexandra Chase Griswold (Tom) of Cary; her grandchildren, Edward Thomas Griswold and Emily Chase Griswold; her siblings, Mary Snowman and David W. Snowman; and her sister-in-law June Chase. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or your local library.
