He was predeceased by: his parents, George Spear and Katherine Spear; his daughter Heather; his brother James; his grandparents, Levi, Helen Clough, Gilford and Mary; and his in-laws, Walter and Pauline Jasper.
He is survived by: his wife Annette; his daughters, Erin Spear and Amber Matthews (Kevin); his grandchildren, Annalaya, Addison and Joseph; his siblings, Sarah Burgess (Danny), Greg, Patsy Vye (Timmy), Peter (Jodi) and Joel (Jamie); and his siblings-in-law, Gail Jasper, Melinda Felt (Lindy), Alisa Austin (Jim) and Wanda DePalma (Robert).
