She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Curtis Allen and Dorothy Allen of Philadelphia; her children, Curtis Spalding (Jody) of Everett, Wash., Anne Spalding of Carona, Switzerland, Andrew Spalding (Casey Misuraca) of Forest Knolls, Calif., Barbara Spalding of Camden and Amy Spalding-Fecher (Randall) of Pelham, Mass.; her grandchildren, Kaila Nicoli Cattani, Manuel Nicoli, Leilani Nicoli Ajetaj, Lucy Spalding, Maya Spalding-Fecher and Grace Spalding-Fecher; and her sister Marya Allen of Camden. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Coastal Mountains Land Trust or Westover School.
