She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ames and Rita Ames (Huntly); her husband Joe Sawyer; her brother Richard; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ames and Joan Tibbetts; and her nephew Larry Tibbetts.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Sawyer of Camden; her son Judson (Agnes Rice Sawyer); her sister-in-law Judy Sawyer Dell (Joseph Dell); her children, Marjo S. G. Meade (Charles Meade) and Gina Sawyer; her nieces and nephews, Cynthia Ames Huston, Elizabeth Tibbetts, Cathy Sine, Jennifer Ernstrom, James, Richard Ames, Paul Tibbetts and Andrew Dell; her grandchildren, Sam Gaudette, Sean Gaudette (Angela Grass), Claire Sawyer (Paul Shaffer) and Gwendelyn Sawyer; and her great grandchildren, Colin Marcus Grass Gaudette and Angela Rose Sawyer Shaffer. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in her honor to the Camden Rotary Club and the Sussman House.
