It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Frye Eaton of Camden, Maine, born in Thomaston, Maine, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Frye and Agatha Gove Frye (Towle); her husband David R. Eaton Sr.; her son David R. Eaton Jr.; her parents-in-law, Roswell F. Eaton and Sadie B. Eaton; her siblings, Colleen F. Roberts, Florence Fossett, William A. Frye Jr., Donald M. Frye Sr. and Lawrence Frye; her parents-in-law, Dorothy E. Lord, Carl F. Eaton and Ethel Ausplund; and her nieces and nephews, Donald M. Frye Jr., Harold Dauphin, Jane Roberts Weaver, Pam Higbee and Susan Berry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Eaton Perry (Peter) of Hope and Joyce Eaton Hardy (Fred Waske) of Cromwell, CT; her sister Jean Jones of Camden; her siblings-in-law, Cynthia Dauphin of Bath, Alice Frye, Esther Frye (Claire Frye) and Bill Fossett; her grandchildren, Michelle V. Upton (David Hilt) of East Union, Joshua S. Hardy (Denise) of Palmer, AK, Eli Eaton Hardy (Kate) of Charlton, MA and Ian F. Putansu (Dawn Emery) of Lincolnville; and her stepgrandsons, Peter Perry, Matthew Perry and Joshua Perry. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
