He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Whittier Payne and Evelyn Rose Payne; and his wife Julia Spear of Camden. He is survived by: his children, Bradford C. Payne II (Christine) of Lincolnville and Cynthia McNeil (Tom) of Waterville; his granddaughters, Delaney, Trinity Payne, Meghan and Sarah McNeil; his nephews, Charles and Philip Roberts; and his niece Deborah Demaso.
