Betty Whitney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2021, at the age of 95, Betty Whitney of Cambridge, Maine, born in Mandan, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Norton and Mary Norton (Amundson); her husband Robert Lord Whitney of Cambridge, Maine.; her children, Carol F. Whitney (Richard Howard) of Augusta, Barbara A. Herring (Steven) of Garland and Richard Whitney (Barbara J. Whitney) of Dexter; her brother William Norton (Shirley) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Emily Wilson (Whitney), Angela Dorman (McKusick), Sarah N. Whitney, Elizabeth Moskovitz (McKusick), Allyson Gudroe (Herring) and Angela Armstrong (Herring); her great grandchildren, Alanna Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Karrigan Wilson, Jacob Cardelli, Lily Carr, Meah Carr, Robert Dorman, Gunnar Moskovitz, Elle Moskovitz, Kevin Armstrong, Adele Armstrong, Cally Gudroe and Adalea Gudroe; her nephew Douglas Whitney of Greenville; her nieces, Tracy Kaluzniak (Norton) of Minnesota, Loree Norton of North Dakota, Nancy McCarrell (Norton) of Minnesota, Christine Douthett (Norton) of Virginia and Karen Brunetto (Norton) of Ohio; her sister-in-law Myra "Micki" Norton (Stowman) of Bismark; her close friend Judy Ridlon of Dexter; and her brother Wesley. She was also cherished by 5 grandnieces and 3 grandnephews.
Due to COVID, there will be no visiting hours.
