It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne E. McGuire (Calais, Maine), born in Machias, Maine, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his fathers, Earl McGuire and Marion McGuire (Griffin); his brother Perry Shain; and his pet Scotty. He is survived by: his wife Brenda McGuire of Perry; his daughters, Cathy Sawtelle of Pembroke, Crystal McGuire of Perry and Jennifer McGuire (Brian Bowen) of Perry; his grandchildren, Laurna, Jodie Sawtelle, Gabriel, Brianna, Aidan Georgantis, Nathaniel Steadman and Aaron Bowen; and his siblings, Patricia Becker of Eastport, Sharon Lucas (Jim) of Robbinston and Harry Shain Jr. of Perry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
