With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna MacKechnie of Calais, Maine, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gibson and Tressie Gibson (Langille); her husband Harold MacKechnie; her sons, Ronald and Donald MacKechnie; her granddaughter Leah Jo; her brothers, Herman and William; and also, Irene and Gladys.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Ruth MacKechnie of Calais, Caroleah MacKechnie (Ricky Ward) of Cape Coral, FL and Wanda MacKechnie of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Maevon MacKechnie (Joe Cody) of Rockland, MA, Brandi MacKechnie (Duncan Stewart IV) of Kea'au, HI, Donald "Mac" MacKechnie Jr. of Lincoln and Ian MacKechnie of Portland; and her great grandchildren, Daisy Stewart, Duncan Steward V and Fae MacKechnie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
