He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Saunders (Cookson) and Samuel A. Saunders; his sisters, Nancy Perry and Judith Antoniello; and his cousin Richard Cookson.
He is survived by: his wife Kristi Saunders (Bradbury); his daughter Allison Atkinson (Saunders); his son-in-law Stacey of St. Stephen, NB; his grandchildren, Zachary Samuel Atkinson of Alexander and Rachael Niles (Tyler) of Calais; his great grandchildren, Callie Kristi Ann, Hunter Samuel and Natalie Quinn; and his close friends, Manny, Drew, Mike and Billy. He is also survived by many other special friends, nieces and nephews.
