He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Raye and Sadie Raye; his wife Helen Raye; and his siblings, Clifford Raye and Faye Freeman.
He is survived by: his children, Don Raye (Joanne) of St. Stephen, NB, Joy Leech (Charlie) of Saint John, NB and Cindy Pickering (Thomas) of Lee; his grandchildren, Nathan Leech, Dustin Pickering, Patrick Leech, Stephen Raye, Shelby Bradford, Drew Pickering and David Raye; and his brother Max Raye (Cynthia) of Bangor. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
