Margaret McKay Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2020, at the age of 91, Margaret McKay of Calais, Maine, born in Oak Bay, New Brunswick passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret McKay to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Ernestine McKay Letarte (Roger Letarte) of Biddeford, Maine.; her son-in-law Roger Letarte; her son Philip McKay of Freeport, Maine.; her sisters, Bertha Bernier (Ivan) of New Brunswick, Helena Kent (Dough) of New Brunswick and Florena Stewart of New Brunswick; her husband Ernest Clifford McKay; her daughter Mary McKay; her parent Bessie McVicar Leavitt; her stepfather Richmond Leavitt; and her siblings, Ralph Leavitt, Jon Leavitt, Georgina DeWitt and Shirley Kent. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

Funeral services were delayed due to COVID-19 and closure of the borders between the United States and Canada.
