She was predeceased by: her husband David Getchell; her parents, Frances Leavitt Scott (Leavitt) and Everett Scott; her niece Terry Ockenden; and her nephews, Larry Leavitt and Kenny Murphy Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Michael Allen Getchell and Laurie Lynn Getchell Johnson (Brian); her granddaughter Meghan; and her siblings, Emma Jamieson, Ethel Eldridge (Clyde), Rose Robichaud, Maxine Geroux (Bob), Vivian McGaw, Hazen Leavitt (Madeline) and Larry Leavitt (Priscilla). She is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
