It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnson W. McRorie (Calais, Maine), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson McRorie and Marie McRorie; and his sisters, Kathy and Patty McRorie. He is survived by: his wife Susan McRorie; his sons, Johnson (Rachael), Aaron (Theresa), Luke and Larken McRorie; his grandchildren, Sarah Fasel, Eleanor, Everett and Lucille McRorie; and his brothers, Charles (Dianne) and Leon McRorie (Tom).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calais Second Baptist Church (21 Church St, Calais, ME 04619).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Big Lake Campmeeting at https://biglakecampmeeting.square.site or UTurn Ministries https://youturnmin.org.

We had many conversations and I considered him to be a friend. I lost track of him after my early college years but reconnected briefly a few years later. May God comfort you in this loss and in your grief. He was a man of deep faith those many years ago. One day I look forward to seeing him again in the presence of our Lord. .”
