John Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2020, at the age of 90, John Smith of Calais, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Smith and Ruth Smith (Morgan); his daughter-in-law Kathy Smith; his siblings, Nelson Smith (Elva), Lois Alexander (Clifford), Marjorie Colpitts (Francis) and Faye Doliber (Willard Vernon); and his brother-in-law Norman Mylen.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Smith; his children, Theresa Smith of Calais, John Smith Jr. of Calais, Joseph Smith (Mary Jo) of Rye, NH, Robert Smith (Chelsea) of Arundel and Sheridan Smith (Valerie) of Baileyville; his grandchildren, Melissa Ramsey (Matthew Audy), Cristen Melo, Patrick Ramsey, Vincent Ramsey, Jonathan Smith (Andrea Floyd), Emily Smith (Matthew), Stephen Smith (Tiana Lola), Sarah Pike (Nathan), Lucas Smith, Quinton Smith, Sadie Smith and Brooke Smith; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Kaci, Aiden, Riley, Jackson, Emma and Eloise; his sister Barbara Mylen of Trenton; and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Gowan, Shirley Stuart of St. Stephen, NB and Bessie Stuart of Edmonton, AB. He is also survived by his "extended family".
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no public service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to any of the following in Jack's memory: St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Calais Lions Club, Calais Lioness Club, or PAWS Animal Shelter.
