He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Monaghan and May Monaghan (Smith); his wife Jean Monaghan; his grandson Jeremiah "JJ" Childs; and his sisters, Marilyn Clowater and Carol Jones.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Flood; his sons-in-law, Nelson of Calais and Gregory of Scotchridge, NB; his great grandchildren, Claire, William, Ivory and Tannar; and his siblings, Charles, Duane Monaghan, Betty Cotter (Terry) and Eileen Ingram.
