He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma; his son George N. Moreshead; his granddaughter Patricia Lee Moreshead; and his sister Ethel Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Sherrard (John) of Calais and Jerry Moreshead of Meddybemps; his grandchildren, Kelly McCoubrey (Peter) of Meddybemps, Jerri-Mae Ross (Jim) of Calais, Michael Sherrard (Morgan) of Calais and Christopher Sherrard (Rene) of Calais; and his niece Rachel Hamilton of Baileyville. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
