He was predeceased by: his parents, Asher Bohanon and Beatrice Bohanon (Bayliss); his son Christopher Eric Nicholas; and his brother Jimmy Bohanon. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Bohanon, Faye Socobasin, Louie Nicholas (Lorrie) and Bea Nicholas; his grandchildren, Michael Bohanon, Whitney Roberts (Karissa), Laura Polches (Everett), Abigail Nicholas, John Socobasin, Nathaniel Nicholas, Shawn Bohanon, Francis Bohanon and JoAnna Socobasin; his great grandchildren, Faye and Everett; his siblings, Barbara Landry, Judy Fenlason (Gene), Shirley Dwelley, Evelynn Corbett and Monte Bohanon; and his friends, Joe Troiani, Gene "Frenchie" Landry and Bob Ferry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
