She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Monk and Theresa Monk (Wilson); her husband George Monk; her granddaughter Senta Dwelley; her daughter Vona; her sons-in-law, Leon Bailey and James McLaughlin; and her siblings, Sophia Seamans, Maxine Farley, James, Sheldon and Clarence Monk.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Monk (Elizabeth) and Vicki McLaughlin (David Peters); her grandchildren, Jamie McLaughlin (Marilyn), Melinda Burke, Amber Arbo (Scott) and Scott Monk (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Michael McLaughlin (Sarah), Ryan McIver (Taylor), Shain McIver, Nevaeh Thomas, Ethan Monk, Evan Monk, Kacie Burke, Matthew McLemore, Jeremy Burke (Kait) and Jacob Dwelley; her great great grandchildren, Zelda, Natalie, Everett, Jonah, Hannah and Melody; and her son Alton Duplisea. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
