He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia B. Hayward (Sitnik); his parents, Clinton R. Hayward and Ruth D. Hayward (Davis); his siblings, Janet Yardley and David Hayward; and his son-in-law Edward Seeley.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Seeley of Charlotte, Tommy Hayward (Nokomis) of Scarborough, Clinton D. Hayward (Anne) of Livermore, Paul Blair (Sarah Pew) of Pacifica, CA and Kathy Blair of Auburn, Maine.; his sisters, Betty Jean Bisson of Minneapolis, Karel MacKay (Al) of So, Marcia Hayward of Machiasport and Debbie Hancock (Gordon) of Calais; his grandchildren, Megan Grenier, Samantha Hayward of Sidney and Taylor Hayward of Scarborough; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Seeley-Bishop (Taylor) of Herman and Andrew Seeley of Concord, NH; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lydia and Myla Bishop (Marcia Chambers) of Herman; his brother Pete Nelson (Sandra) of So; his pet Joy; and his son Clint. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Following the guidelines set forth by the State of Maine and the CDC masks and social distancing will be required.
