He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McCray and Freda McCray (Moreside); his brothers, G. Cecil Moreside, Edward, Albin and Merritt; his brother-in-law Lyle Hamilton; and also Charles McCray.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley McCray; his son James McCray of Saint John, NB; his sisters, Patsy Hill (Earl) of Alexander, Barbara Hickok (Tom) of Matthews, NC and Jill Hamilton of Princeton; and his brother-in-law James Pike. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
