He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Basford and Ruth Basford (Chase); his sister Alphena Hamm; and his brother-in-law Don Emmert. He is survived by: his wife Linda Basford; his stepson Joshua Knowlton; and his siblings, Gerald Basford (Cheryl), Betty Emmert, Beverly LePage (David), Amy Pierce (Vaughan), Ricky Basford (Barbara), Laurie Chandler (Jeff), Bruce Basford (Regina) and Rodney Basford (Billie Jo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
