She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schmidt and Bernice Schmidt; her siblings, Fred Schmidt Jr. and Florence Traetto; and her grandson Nicholas Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Bailey; and her children, Melissa, Stephanie and Alan.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Barbara's honor to the Ronald McDonald House Charities who cared for her family when her beloved Nicholas was in the hospital. Donations dedicated to Barbara can be made to the Maine Chapter at rmhc.org/donate.
