With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Nies of Brunswick, Maine, born in Gloversville, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2017 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Davis and Mary Midgley Davis; her spouse Loring Francis Nies; her children, Loring Nies (Leila Nyberg) of West Lafayette, Donald Nies (Teri) of Orlando, Barbara Nies (Jerald Singer) of Oakton, Virginia. and Elizabeth Nies; her granddaughter Katie Nies of Brunswick, Maine.; and her brother Robert Davis of Grand Isle.
