He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Kay Orr; his daughter Jan Marie Ward; his son-in-law Norman E. Ward III; his daughter Sandra Kauffman; his son-in-law Michael Doucette; his grandsons, Dr. Bryan Ward, David Ward and Peter Doucette; his wife Josephine Bowman Kauffman; his siblings, Richard Kauffman and Ruth Kauffman Harvey; his parents, Ralph Kauffman and Eva Kauffman; his sibling Phi Delta Theta; and his former wife Ellen B. Yarborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, or the Oasis Free Clinics in Brunswick, Maine.
